Many people talk about goals and objectives and the need to set them. Write them down, be specific they all say, but how many of us actually do this, and does it really make a difference in the great scheme of things?
Well, I have read a great deal about goal setting and decided that I would do something about it today. There are many formats and templates out there on how and what to do, I stuck with creating a simple list of what I need to do in order to really expand my online experience. I then looked at each and every thing I had written down and I chose two that I felt were important and needed my immediate attention.
I then created a more detailed version for each item, detailing within each item what I needed to actually do and accomplish in order to complete the task. Added to that I have pencilled each item into my diary on a specific date and I am going to attack that task when the date rolls around.
I have realised that as humans, we keep a lot of stuff in our heads, I do, at least I did! It gets very depressing and frustrating at times, too much in the old top section, that there isn't always space for the little things. I quite like the way I am feeling right now, quite free...
I have set certain goals over the course of November, a much slower pace than I might normally have set myself, but then I would have been focussing on a 1000 things at once and probably only really accomplished 10 of them.
So I have been specific and I will let you know how it is progressing, lets see what results I get?
Cheers
